Real help for

Infertility, Loss, or Postpartum Challenges

Whether you are trying to conceive, grieving, or adjusting — I am here to help you go from emotional exhaustion to grounded strength and steady support.
Jen Cromer, Headshot
You have talked to doctors, maybe even other therapists, but you still feel like no one really gets it. The ache of infertility, the silent grief of pregnancy loss, or the complex emotions that come after a long-awaited pregnancy, and it's all overwhelming.

At Poppy Perinatal Therapy, you will find something different.

Deep compassion, specialized care, and someone who walks beside you with both clinical expertise and lived experience.

This is a space where your story is honored, your emotions are valid, and you never have to explain the same thing twice.

Does this sound familiar?

You’ve done your best to stay strong, but the emotional toll is real.

You feel isolated and invisible in a world that keeps moving forward.

You’re exhausted from trying to explain your experience to people who don’t understand.

Clinics feel cold. Advice feels hollow. And your grief is constantly minimized.

You need more than just a listening ear; you need a therapist who sees you, believes you, and has walked this path — both personally and professionally.

Welcome!

I'm Jen Cromer, MA, LCPC, PMH-C

A different kind of support from someone who understands from the inside out.

I'm Jen, the therapist behind Poppy Perinatal Therapy. And I want you to know something personal: Poppy is the name of the baby my husband and I lost. She's why I do this work.

I don't just understand perinatal trauma as a clinician. I understand it as a person who has lived in it — who has felt the silence of loss, the weight of grief that doesn't fit neatly into a category, and the ache of a community that sometimes doesn't know what to say.

With two decades of clinical experience and a deeply personal connection to infertility and reproductive trauma, I provide therapy that is grounded in empathy, attunement, and genuine care. Whether you are in the thick of IVF, grieving a loss, or adjusting to postpartum after infertility, this is a space built for you.

I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a clinically proven, deeply effective therapy for trauma, and I've designed an intensive format specifically for the perinatal experience.

Together, we will slow things down, create emotional breathing room, and help you move forward with steadiness instead of fear.

This practice was built in Poppy's honor. And every client I work with carries a piece of that purpose.

Because your healing matters, and it shouldn't have to wait.

Getting started is simple and supportive because you already have enough on your plate.
